NFC (Near Field Communication) is the same technology used in contactless payments. Any modern iPhone or Android phone reads NFC tags automatically — the customer holds their phone near the sign, a notification appears, and one tap takes them straight to your chosen link. It's faster than scanning a QR code and works without the customer opening any app.

What's in this collection

The range covers the three most common NFC use cases for businesses: Google review signs — tap to leave a review, ideal for cafés, salons, restaurants and retail; Tap to Follow Us signs — tap to visit your Instagram, website or Linktree; and Tap to pay or book signs for any other URL you want customers to reach instantly. All are available in multiple sizes, portrait or landscape, with optional wooden stand.

What URL should I use?

Any link works — your Google review link, Instagram profile, website homepage, Linktree, Facebook page, WhatsApp link, or booking page. If you want to link to multiple platforms at once, a free Linktree or Buffer Start Page puts everything behind one URL. The URL is programmed into the chip when we make the sign — provide the correct link in the personalisation box at checkout.

NFC vs QR code — which should I choose?

NFC is faster and more seamless — one tap, no camera needed. QR code is more universal — it works on older phones and for customers who aren't used to NFC. For venues where you want the fastest possible interaction (at a till, on a reception desk), NFC wins. For venues with a mixed or older customer base, a QR code is safer. Many businesses use both. All signs are made from oak veneered MDF — laser engraved, not printed. Upload your logo using the logo upload button on each product page. Bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units — useful if you're ordering for multiple sites or locations. Current dispatch times are shown at checkout.
