Signs where the wording is set by law
Almost everything in this collection is yours to word however you like. The exception is the no-smoking sign required in school grounds in Wales, where the regulations prescribe the exact bilingual text and require a sign at each main entrance to the grounds. That sign also sits permanently outdoors, so it needs 5mm bamboo rather than the oak veneer used for indoor signage. Our guide sets out the statutory wording, the placement rule and the penalty.

Are these signs suitable for outdoor use?
No — oak veneered MDF cannot tolerate damp or wet conditions and is for indoor use only. For a permanent external sign such as a gate or entrance notice, 5mm bamboo is the right material. Get in touch before ordering one.
