Bespoke Training Plans & Introduction Course Our services include personalised training plans designed around your specific interests and goals, as well as a comprehensive 2-hour Introduction to Laser Engraving and Cutting. This beginner-friendly session covers setup, maintenance, software use, and hands-on creation of a custom-designed product that you can take home.
Location & Availability Training is primarily conducted in our fully equipped North Wales Workshop, located approximately 8 miles from Chester, Cheshire. For added convenience, on-site training and consultancy services are also available, allowing Peter to bring his expertise directly to your location.
NOTE: I now offer Training via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp Video Call if you are too far away to come to my workshop. This works quite well, but visiting in person is even better.

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

We recently had a training session with Peter, and he was absolutely amazing! As complete beginners with very little knowledge, we were quite nervous about learning the ins and outs of using our machine, but Peter's calm demeanor and clear explanations made all the difference. His patience and expertise were truly brilliant! We had connection issues due to internet problems on our end, but this didn’t phase him at all.
He didn’t just walk us through the basics but provided invaluable advice on everything, including how to prevent our machine from freezing with simple but effective heater recommendations. Peter covered everything from focusing the machine, maintenance tips, LightBurn software, and fine-tuning settings. By the end of the session, we felt confident enough to actually create something without the fear we had before.
We are so grateful for Peter's help and will definitely be going back for more training. Highly recommend him to anyone in need of professional and patient guidance!

As a teacher returning to my subject of Design Technology following many years in senior leadership, I was seeking an introduction to laser cutting. Peter and I were in contact before the training and he put together a bespoke package which covered the basics of maintenance, software use and so many practical tips.
