An oak veneered MDF hanging sign laser-engraved with “Number of Annual Leave Days Remaining — 365” — a wry farewell gift for a colleague, friend or family member who is retiring. Available with the standard text or personalised with a custom message. Four sizes, jute string hanger. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.
The standard text works as a standalone joke — every day is now annual leave. The custom text option lets you add a personal message beneath, turning it into a keepsake as well as a gag. Popular for office leaving collections, retirement parties and farewell presentations.

Frequently asked questions
What does the standard text say?
“Number of Annual Leave Days Remaining — 365”. The implication is that every day is now annual leave. No personalisation needed for the standard version.
What should I put as the custom message?
A name and retirement date, a short farewell message, or a department sign-off. Keep it to two or three lines for the best layout on the smaller sizes.
Which size suits a group presentation?
The large (225×164mm) or extra large (270×190mm) make more of an impression for a group leaving gift. The medium is right for a desk or bookshelf keepsake.

Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
