An oak veneered MDF hanging sign laser-engraved with candy and cupcake graphics alongside the phrase “If Mum Says No, Ask Grandad” — a playful family kitchen sign with any names you like. The standard text uses Mum and Grandad but both names are customisable: swap in Dad, Gran, Nana, Grandma, or any combination that fits your family. Four sizes, jute string hanger. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Works in a kitchen, a family room, a grandparent’s house or as a birthday gift for a Grandad, Gran or any family member who enjoys their reputation as the one who always says yes.

How to order

  1. Choose your size from the variants.
  2. In the personalisation box, enter the names you want — e.g. “If Dad Says No, Ask Grandma”. Leave blank for the standard “If Mum Says No, Ask Grandad” text.
  3. Add to basket.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
