How Personalisation Works: From Order to Engraved Gift

Personalising an engraved gift takes three steps: choose the product and its options, type your wording in the personalisation box (and upload a logo where there is a button for one), then we engrave it to order and dispatch it. The engraving follows exactly what you type, so the most important step is checking your wording before you add to basket.

Step 1: Choose the product and options

Pick the size and any design option from the dropdowns. Some products offer standard wording or custom text; if you choose custom text, the personalisation box is where your wording goes.

Step 2: Type your wording

Type names, dates or messages in the personalisation box exactly as you want them engraved, including capital letters, apostrophes and line breaks. For several items with different names, list one name per line. Our wooden name badges also accept a spreadsheet of names — see how to order wooden name badges.

Step 3: Add a logo or drawing, where offered

Products that take a logo show a logo upload button. Logos can be colour or black and white — we will convert colour logos for engraving; our design service for this is free. Products without the button are text-only.

Proofs

Proofs are not sent as standard. If you would like to see the layout before it is engraved, ask for a proof in the personalisation box.

Engraving and dispatch

Each item is laser-engraved individually in our workshop in North Wales after you order. All items are made to order. Dispatch time is shown at checkout. UK orders via Royal Mail Tracked 24. International via Royal Mail International Tracked.

If you spot a mistake

Engraving is permanent, so changes are only possible before your item is made. If you notice a mistake after ordering, contact us straight away with your order number.

Ordering in bulk

Bulk discounts apply automatically at checkout per product: 10% from 20 units, 15% from 50, 20% from 100, 25% from 250, 30% from 500 and 35% from 1,000. No code or quote is needed. Browse personalised wooden gifts or products for organisations.
