Which no-dogs sign do I need?
-
Polite, whole premises — Sorry No Dogs Please: hanging, four sizes, heart-and-leaf border. For holiday lets, B&Bs, cafés, garden rooms and homes that want to stay dog-free without sounding unwelcoming.
-
Firm, whole premises — No Dogs Allowed / Dogs Not Permitted: hanging, four sizes, crossed-out dog icon. For shops, pubs, offices and receptions.
-
Upstairs only — No Dogs Upstairs Please (hanging, four sizes, custom wording option) or the freestanding version (two sizes, sits at the foot of the stairs without fixings).
-
Furniture only — No Dogs On Furniture Please (hanging, four sizes, custom wording option), the 75mm solid oak block (freestanding, no base needed) or No Dogs on Bed or Furniture (freestanding, two sizes, for bedrooms).
The dog-friendly collection carries the softer "please keep your dog off the furniture" and "paws on the floor" wording for venues that allow dogs but set rules.

Assistance dogs
A no-dogs sign does not apply to guide dogs and other assistance dogs, which have a right of access to premises open to the public under the Equality Act 2010. Staff should treat the sign as covering pet dogs only.

Frequently asked questions
Does a No Dogs sign apply to assistance dogs?
No. Assistance dogs have a statutory right of access under the Equality Act 2010 regardless of a venue's dog policy, so the sign covers pet dogs only.
Polite or firm — which should I choose?
Sorry No Dogs Please suits accommodation, cafés and homes where tone matters. No Dogs Allowed suits shops, offices and pubs that need the policy read at a glance; the crossed-out dog icon works without the words.
Are these signs suitable for outdoor use?
They are made for indoor use — entrances, receptions, hallways, garden rooms and interior doors. Oak veneered MDF is not weatherproof.
Can I change the wording?
On the upstairs and furniture signs, yes — use the custom wording option and the personalisation box. Sorry No Dogs Please and No Dogs Allowed are fixed-design signs.
Is there a minimum order?
No — order a single sign at full price. Bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units.
