Wooden toilet and bathroom signs, laser-engraved to order in our workshop in Buckley, North Wales. The range covers male and female toilet signs, accessible (wheelchair) signs, WC and unisex signs, directional toilet signs and circular door plaques — used by cafés, pubs, restaurants, offices, village halls, schools, hotels and B&Bs across the UK. All come in four sizes on 4mm oak veneered MDF, and most can be personalised with your own wording.

All signs come in four sizes — Small 102×74mm, Medium 158×115mm, Large 225×164mm and Extra Large 270×190mm — laser-engraved on 4mm oak veneered MDF for a dark contrast on natural oak grain. They are supplied flat for wall mounting (3M Command Strips recommended), and pre-drilled hanging holes can be added on request — just leave a note in the personalisation box. What is a toilet sign?
A toilet sign identifies a toilet or washroom and its intended users — male, female, unisex or accessible — in a home or commercial setting. Ours are laser-engraved wooden door plaques that replace standard plastic or printed signs with an oak version suited to hospitality and office interiors. WC, the wording on some signs, stands for water closet.

What size should a toilet sign be?
For a standard door, the Medium (158×115mm) is the most common choice — clearly legible and proportionate to a door panel. Large (225×164mm) suits busier venues, and Extra Large works for directional signage seen from a corridor. Small suits compact or domestic spaces.

How do the signs fix to the door?
Signs are supplied flat for wall or door mounting, with 3M Command Strips recommended for a no-drill fixing. If you would prefer to hang the sign, request pre-drilled holes in the personalisation box and we'll add them before dispatch.

Can I have a custom or directional toilet sign?
Yes. Many signs include left and right arrow variants for wayfinding, and you can request your own wording, room name or symbol combination in the personalisation box.

Are the signs suitable inside a bathroom?
They are designed for indoor use on toilet and washroom doors and walls. They are not suitable for direct, prolonged moisture — a door or wall is ideal, but avoid mounting inside a shower or wet area.
