A personalised dog friendly open and closed sign made from FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256) — double-sided, with "Open" on one face and "Closed" on the other, plus your logo and website engraved. Hung with jute string. Ideal for cafés, shops and any business that welcomes dogs and wants to say so clearly. Slightly more moisture-resistant than oak — a good choice for entrances. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

Why bamboo over oak?
FSC-certified Moso bamboo is slightly more moisture-resistant than oak veneered MDF, making it a good choice for entrances and areas near doorways. It also carries a certified sustainable forestry credential.

What format should my logo be?
Black and white works best for laser engraving. We'll optimise it before engraving — just upload what you have.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
