Frequently asked questions

What are personalised wooden medals?
Laser-engraved award medals made from wood rather than zinc alloy or plastic. The engraving is permanent and does not fade, and each medal carries your event name, club logo and any position or achievement wording.

What events are these suitable for?
Any sports event: marathons, 5K and 10K runs, school sports days, swimming galas, football, archery, cycling, triathlons, dance competitions and sailing regattas. They are also used for school achievement awards, club end-of-season presentations and charity events.

Which size should I choose?
Standard is 65 x 72mm and Large is 72 x 80mm. Both are engraved the same way, so the choice is about how substantial you want the medal to feel.

Are bulk discounts available?
Yes. Discounts apply automatically at checkout from 20 units, up to 35% off at 1,000.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Production & Delivery

All items are made to order.

Your estimated dispatch and delivery date is shown at checkout, based on current production times.

Orders are typically sent using Royal Mail:

β€’ UK: Tracked 24 (with optional Special Delivery upgrade)

β€’ International: Royal Mail International Tracked

If you need your order by a specific date, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

β€’ Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

β€’ Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
