A Portable Hearing Loop freestanding oak sign — engraved with the induction loop symbol and wording for a portable loop, in two sizes, single or double-sided, with a removable wooden base. Laser-engraved on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF. Lightweight enough to move between service points with the loop unit itself. For banks, pharmacies, box offices, reception desks and any venue that operates a portable induction loop rather than a fixed system. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the standard hearing loop sign?
The wording. This sign tells customers a portable loop is available at the point of service; the standard freestanding hearing loop sign is for a fixed loop installed in the room. The size, base and material are the same.
Why display a hearing loop sign at all?
Hearing-aid users only benefit from a loop if they know to switch to the T setting. Displaying the loop symbol where the loop works is also the simplest way to evidence a reasonable adjustment under the Equality Act 2010 — see our accessibility signs guide.

Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
