• Mixed names in one order. List every name and job title, one per line, in the personalisation box. Each badge is engraved individually — there is no per-name surcharge.
• New starters. Order single badges at full price at any time. There is no minimum, so a one-badge top-up order is normal.

• Multi-site organisations. Place one order and split on arrival, or order per site — the bulk tier is calculated per product, per order.

What you can put in a sustainability report

Two material options are certified, and the wording matters if the claim is going into a report:

FSC-certified oak veneered MDF — real oak veneer on a stable MDF core, certified at source through our supplier's FSC Chain of Custody certification. Recommended for indoor use.

FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256) — quote this certificate number where a report requires a traceable reference. Bamboo is marginally more moisture-resistant than oak veneer, which suits hospitality settings where badges may get damp.

Beyond the material: engraving uses no inks, solvents or coatings, and packaging is paper-based with no plastic wrapping or inserts. We would rather state those three things precisely than describe the product as environmentally friendly in general terms. No. Ordering is the same at one badge or one thousand, and the bulk discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Which fastening works best for a uniform?
Magnetic, in most cases — it holds securely and leaves no pin hole in the fabric. Pin-and-clip is the better choice for thicker garments such as aprons and outerwear.

Can we reorder a matching badge in a year's time?
Yes. The badge sizes and materials are a standing range rather than a seasonal one, so a single replacement will match the original set.

Are these suitable for outdoor use?
Oak veneered MDF is for indoor use — it does not tolerate damp or wet conditions. Bamboo is water-resistant and copes better with occasional damp, though neither is intended as outdoor signage.

What can we claim publicly about the material?
That the badges are FSC-certified oak veneered MDF or FSC-certified Moso bamboo, certificate RINA-COC-001256, engraved without inks or coatings and packed without plastic. We would avoid broader wording that cannot be evidenced.
