QR code or NFC?
QR code signs are scanned with the phone camera and work on every smartphone, so they are the safer default. NFC signs are tapped — faster, with no camera to open — and suit a till or reception desk where the customer is already holding a phone; the chip can be rewritten later with a free NFC app. Many businesses use both. Getting the right link
Search for your business on Google, find the Get more reviews button on your business panel and copy that link — it looks like g.page/r/…/review and opens the star-rating box directly. The Google Maps listing URL is not the same and will not open the review box. Test the link on a phone before ordering, then paste it in the field at checkout.

Does the sign open the review box or just my listing?
The review box, provided you give us the Get more reviews link. A listing or Maps link still works as a code but leaves customers to find the review button themselves.
Can the same sign collect TripAdvisor or Trustpilot reviews?
The Google review signs carry Google wording. For another platform, or a choice of platforms, use the Review QR code sign and point it at the review page you prefer.
Can I reward customers for leaving a review?
Google's policies do not allow incentives for reviews, so the sign simply makes it quick. Placing it where the experience ends — the till, the table, checkout — is what lifts the number of reviews.
Sign or coaster?
A sign works at the point of payment; a coaster works through the whole visit because it sits under the drink. Venues with table service often use both.
Does the review link expire?
No. The Get more reviews link stays valid while your Google Business Profile exists, so an engraved code keeps working.
