Baby Handprint Christmas Bauble | First Christmas | Oak

A baby handprint Christmas bauble laser engraved from a print you take yourself with an ink pad or paint, with a greeting above and the baby's name and year beneath. The handprint is traced directly from your uploaded photo. Made from 4mm FSC-certified oak veneered MDF, 100mm in diameter, with a jute cord for hanging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

How to order

1. Make the handprint on white paper with a dark ink pad or paint — use paint sparingly so each finger shows clearly
2. Photograph or scan the print in good light, straight on; keep the original in case you want a retake
3. Use the upload button on this page to add the image
4. Add your wording in the personalisation box — what you want at the top (greeting) and at the bottom (name and year). If the print is very small, include its width so it is sized correctly
5. Add to basket. Bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units

FAQ

Ink pad or paint — which gives a better print?
A washable ink pad gives the cleanest lines. If you use paint, a thin even coat on a sponge works better than a brush, which leaves blobs between the fingers.

My baby keeps clenching — any tips?
Newborns grip reflexively, so a footprint is often easier under about three months. A warm, sleepy baby is the best moment; press the paper onto the hand rather than the hand onto the paper.

Can I order in bulk for a nursery or baby group?
Yes — add the product once per child with each image and name, and bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units at checkout.

Which handprint bauble should I choose?
This one if you are making the print now. If you already have a print — a hospital card, nursery artwork or a photo — the baby handprint bauble is engraved straight from that.
