A design your own wooden bauble laser engraved from artwork you already have — a drawing from the fridge door, a doodle, a signature, a sketch or any other image — with a name or year added if you want it. Upload a photo of it and it is traced onto a 100mm disc of 4mm FSC-certified oak veneered MDF with a jute string for hanging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

FAQ

Does colour artwork work?
Only the dark lines and shapes engrave — colour is converted to light and dark, so a felt-tip picture comes out as its outlines. Pale colours such as yellow may drop out altogether.

Can I use something other than a drawing?
Yes — a handwritten note, a signature, a pet's paw print, a small logo or a simple photo with strong contrast all engrave. Fine photographic detail is lost at 100mm.

Which design your own bauble should I choose?
This one if you already have the artwork. If your child is about to draw it and you want step-by-step guidance on pens, paper and photographing the drawing, use the design your own Christmas bauble page.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

All items are made to order.

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
