Frequently asked questions

Is this sign suitable for outdoor use?

It's designed for indoor use — entrances, receptions, hallways and interior doors. The oak veneer and engraving are not weatherproofed for prolonged outdoor exposure.

Can I get a softer, more polite version?

Yes. If a firm "No Dogs Allowed" feels too strong for your setting, see our Sorry No Dogs Please sign — the same oak sign with gentler wording and a decorative border, popular with holiday lets, B&Bs and homes.

How does it hang?

Two pre-drilled holes and a natural jute twine loop, so it hangs on a wall or door straight out of the packaging.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
