Frequently asked questions

How does bamboo differ from oak?
Bamboo is paler with a visible linear grain and engraves a mid-brown; oak veneer is darker and more uniform. Both are FSC-certified; bamboo is 3mm, oak 4mm.

Is bamboo suitable outdoors?
Not this sign — a 3mm hanging sign can swing and knock in wind and may split. It is for indoor use.

Can I have two messages?
Yes — see the double-sided bamboo sign below.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
