Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between birch and oak?

Birch plywood gives a pale, natural finish. FSC-certified oak veneered MDF is darker with a visible wood grain β€” the last three images show the oak finish.

Can I order different names for a whole class?

Yes. Add all names in the personalisation box, one per line. Bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units: 10% from 20, 15% from 50, 20% from 100, 25% from 250, 30% from 500 and 35% from 1000.

Production & Delivery

All items are made to order.

Your estimated dispatch and delivery date is shown at checkout, based on current production times.

Orders are typically sent using Royal Mail:

β€’ UK: Tracked 24 (with optional Special Delivery upgrade)

β€’ International: Royal Mail International Tracked

If you need your order by a specific date, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

β€’ Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

β€’ Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
