Frequently asked questions

Can the arrows point different ways on each sign?
Yes — tell us the wording and arrow direction for each sign in the personalisation box, one line per sign.

Can you match my branding?
Yes — upload your logo using the Upload Your Logo button and we engrave it alongside your text. Black-and-white logos work best; colour usually converts.

Does an FSC-certified sign count towards a Green Key or Green Tourism audit?
Yes, as evidence of eco-labelled purchasing. FSC is an eco-label, and Green Key's Chapter 13 (Administration) guideline asks for at least 75% of newly purchased durables to carry an eco-label or come from a supplier with an environmental management system. These signs are FSC-certified oak veneered MDF, plastic-free and shipped in paper packaging. See our guide to wooden signage as a sustainable alternative to plastic.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Production & Delivery

All items are made to order.

Your estimated dispatch and delivery date is shown at checkout, based on current production times.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
