Frequently asked questions

What logo format works best?
Black and white works best — the laser engraves the dark areas. Colour logos can usually be converted; send your best quality file and we’ll advise if adjustments are needed.

What bulk discount applies?
10% off from 20 units, rising to 35% off at 1,000. Applied automatically at checkout. For larger runs than 100, get in touch and we can discuss pricing.

What is the difference between untreated and Danish oiled?
Untreated is the natural pale oak colour. Danish oiled gives a richer, warmer tone and some moisture resistance — better for keys that are handled frequently.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
