A double-sided door hanger with an open hook instead of a closed hole, laser-engraved on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF, 75mm wide by 185mm tall, with a different message on each face and your logo if you want it. The open hook slides onto a lever handle, a bar handle or a knob from the side, so it fits hardware a round-holed hanger cannot. For spas, salons, clinics, consulting rooms and offices. The hanger is wood only, with no plastic, and orders are dispatched without plastic packaging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

Which messages do people pair?

Treatment in Progress / Please Come In; Meeting in Progress / Please Do Not Disturb; Consultation in Progress / Please Wait; In Session / Free. Any two short messages work, and you can have the same one on both faces.

When should I choose the open hook over a round hole?

When the handle is a lever or a bar you cannot slip a closed hanger over, or when you want to hook it on and off one-handed. For a standard round knob, the In Use / Free hanger with a 51mm hole is the lower-cost option.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
