An oak veneered MDF house rules sign laser-engraved with your own rules and welcome message — a professional, practical way to communicate important information to guests in an Airbnb, holiday cottage, guest house or B&B. Available in A5 and A4 landscape, with or without a freestanding oak stand. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

The sign comes engraved with a standard house rules template (see below) or with your own custom wording — your property name, your specific rules, your checkout instructions. Whatever your guests need to know, provide it in the personalisation box and we’ll engrave it.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is right?
The A5 suits a bedside table, desk or kitchen counter. The A4 makes a stronger statement at an entrance, in a hallway or on a kitchen worktop where guests will see it immediately on arrival.

How much text can I fit?
The A4 with stand comfortably holds 8–10 lines of house rules. The A5 suits 5–6 shorter lines. If you have a lot of rules, the A4 is the right choice. For very long rule sets, get in touch and we’ll advise on layout.

Can I include my property name?
Yes — include it at the top of your text in the personalisation box. For example: “Welcome to Bryn Cottage! Please note our house rules...”

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

All items are made to order.

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
