A personalised oak veneered MDF house rules sign in a freestanding format — laser-engraved with your own rules and welcome message. Available in two sizes, single or double-sided, with a removable freestanding base. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.
Designed for Airbnbs, holiday cottages, B&Bs and guest houses where a freestanding counter or table sign is more practical than a wall-mounted one. The double-sided option lets you carry different information on each face — house rules on one side, WiFi details or checkout instructions on the other.
How to order
- Choose your size and single or double-sided from the variants.
- Enter your house rules text in the personalisation box, exactly as you want it engraved. For double-sided, specify the text for each face.
- Add to basket.

Frequently asked questions
How much text can I fit?
The large (115×168mm) comfortably holds 8–10 lines of house rules. The standard (74×112mm) suits 5–6 shorter lines. For longer rule sets, choose the large.
What goes on the second side of a double-sided sign?
Popular combinations: house rules front / WiFi details back, welcome message front / checkout instructions back. Specify both in the personalisation box.
Can I include my property name?
Yes — include it at the top of your text. For example: “Welcome to Bryn Cottage — please note our house rules...”

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
