A personalised oak hanging sign engraved on both faces — a different message on each side, so one sign can read Open and Closed, Bar and Dining Room, or Do Not Disturb and Come In. Choose single or double-sided at checkout. Laser-engraved on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF in four sizes with rounded corners and a jute string loop, and made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

Does the engraving show through to the other side?
No — engraving is a shallow surface burn on a 4mm board. Each face is independent.

Can I have the same message on both sides?
Yes — useful for a sign that hangs in a window or a doorway and is read from both directions.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
