Frequently asked questions

What do people put on these?
The name of the bar or garage (Dave's Bar, The Shed, Dad's Workshop), opening hours that never apply, and house rules. Anything goes as long as it is not offensive to a third party.

Which size reads best on a bar wall?
Large (225×164mm) or Extra Large (270×190mm). Medium suits a door.

Can I have a different message on the back?
Yes — use the double-sided version linked below.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.

Absolutely outstanding product and customer service!

I ordered the sign for my friend's garden. Paul contacted me pretty much immediately explaining that the material used is unsuitable for outdoors. Instead, he offered me a bamboo alternative (which is normally more expensive) at no additional charge!

The product is brilliant, can't wait for my friend to see it!
I'm super chuffed, will definitely order from this seller again!!

Amazing customer service from CherryGroveC...

Amazing customer service from CherryGroveCraft. I was bereft having misplaced a precious sign that belonged to my Gt Aunt. The item could never be replaced, however Pete did a great job of providing an item with the same wording and inspired by the original.
I am delighted with the result and will definitely be ordering more in the new year as gifts for Christmas 2024. 🌟
