Frequently asked questions
Which size reads better on a door?
The 150mm disc reads from across a room and suits a corridor door; the 100mm disc suits a home-office door, a cupboard or a glass panel where you want the sign to be discreet.
Can I change the wording?
Yes — type your wording in the personalisation box. The round format holds two or three short lines, so “Private — Staff Only” or “Private — Please Knock” fit well.
How is this different from your other Private signs?
This is the round version. The Private Do Not Enter hanging sign is landscape in four sizes, and the slim Private sign is a narrow strip. Our guide to do not disturb signs for the office compares fixed signs with reversible ones.

Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
