An oak veneered MDF hanging sign laser-engraved with “Private” — a clean, professional way to mark a staff area, office, studio, guest room or any space that shouldn’t be entered without permission. Supplied with a natural jute string hanger. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.
Available in Standard Text (Private, as shown) or Custom Text if you need different wording — for example “Private — Staff Only” or “Private — No Entry”. Specify your wording in the personalisation box.

Frequently asked questions
What size should I choose?
The medium (158×115mm) is the most popular for office and studio doors. The small suits treatment rooms, home offices and B&B guest rooms. The large and extra large are right for prominent positions or where the sign needs to be seen at a distance.
Can I have custom text?
Yes — choose the Custom Text variant and enter your wording in the personalisation box. Popular alternatives include “Staff Only”, “Private — No Entry” and “Management Only”.
How is it hung?
Jute string loop is included. The sign can also be wall-mounted with self-adhesive fixings (not included) if a fixed position is preferred over hanging.

Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
