A fully personalised reversible door hanger engraved onto 5mm FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256) — 89×137mm, with a 51mm handle hole that fits most standard door handles. Both faces are personalisable, so you choose the wording on each side and flip it round as needs change. Add your name or logo for a branded finish. For hotels, B&Bs, guest houses, home offices and shared living spaces. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from the 3mm bamboo version?
Same size and same personalisation options. This one is 5mm — noticeably thicker and heavier, and more resistant to splitting under everyday handling, for a small price premium. The 3mm bamboo version remains the better-priced option.

Is there an oak version?
Yes — the oak reversible door hanger is the same 89×137mm size in 4mm oak veneered MDF, with a warmer traditional grain. It is the most budget-friendly of the three.

Why does thickness matter for bamboo?
Bamboo is strong along its fibres but can split if pressure is applied across the grain. A thicker cross-section gives a crack more material to travel through before it can propagate. The full reasoning is in why we made a 5mm bamboo range.

Can we order for a whole hotel?
Yes. Bulk discounts apply automatically at checkout from 20 units, rising to 35% at 1,000. List any room-by-room wording variations in the personalisation box.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
