A WiFi sign with a wipeable blackboard panel and your logo engraved above it, A4 portrait, for a wall, a narrow shelf or beside a door. Your network name is laser-engraved permanently into the oak; the password is written on the blackboard with a liquid chalk pen and wiped clean when it changes, so the sign is never out of date. For cafés, hotels, holiday lets, guest rooms and offices. Built as a one-piece board: an FSC-certified oak veneered MDF face bonded to a wipeable blackboard surface, with no frame. Available with or without a push-fit wooden stand. Orders are dispatched without plastic packaging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

  3. Type your WiFi network name (SSID) in the personalisation box, exactly as it should be engraved — or leave it blank to write the network name on the panel as well

Frequently asked questions

Which pens work on the blackboard?

A liquid chalk pen wipes cleanly with a damp cloth and gives a bright, even line. Ordinary stick chalk works too but is dustier. Permanent markers and paint pens do not wipe off.

Is the password engraved?

No — only the network name and logo are engraved into the oak. The password is written on the wipeable panel, so when it changes you wipe and rewrite rather than re-order.

One-piece board, or frame with insert?

This is the one-piece version: the oak face is bonded directly onto the blackboard surface, so the writing area runs edge to edge with no frame lip. The oak-framed version has a separate blackboard insert inside a 4mm oak frame — see portrait blackboard sign with logo. Same A4 size, same engraving, same stand option.

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
