An A4 portrait specials board with a wipeable blackboard face and an engraved oak heading, for cafés, delis, bars and shops that change the menu daily. Your heading and logo are laser-engraved permanently into the oak; the board below takes a chalk pen and wipes clean. Made from FSC-certified oak veneered MDF bonded to a blackboard surface. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions
Blackboard or whiteboard?
This is the blackboard version, for chalk pens. The whiteboard specials board is the same A4 portrait format for dry-wipe markers.
Which pens work?
Liquid chalk pens wipe cleanly. Ordinary chalk works but is dustier. Permanent markers do not wipe off.
Can the heading say something other than Specials?
Yes — any short heading. Welcome boards, opening hours and daily soup boards are common uses.

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
