Frequently asked questions

Can I use it as a front door sign?

Yes β€” the jute string loop hangs from a door knocker, handle or hook. Medium (158 Γ— 115mm) and Large (225 Γ— 164mm) read most easily from a garden path.

Can I use different wording?

Yes β€” choose Custom Text and add your message in the personalisation box.

Is there a sign for someone sleeping rather than working?

Yes β€” see the Night Shift Worker Sleeping sign and the Baby Sleeping sign.

Read the guide to do not disturb signs for the office.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Production & Delivery

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

β€’ Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

β€’ Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
