Frequently asked questions

Is there a bamboo version?

Yes — the Night Shift Worker Sleeping sign in bamboo is made from FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate BV-COC-190523) in the same four sizes. This oak version is FSC-certified oak veneered MDF, so choose on the look you prefer.

Which size is readable from a doorstep?

Medium (158 × 115mm) is clear enough to read from a front path without being oversized. Large (225 × 164mm) suits wider doors, and Small (102 × 74mm) suits a bedroom door.

Can I use it for a baby or a home office instead?

Choose Custom Text for your own wording, or see the ready-made Baby Sleeping sign and Working From Home sign.

Read the guide to do not disturb signs for day sleepers, night shift workers and babies.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
