A bookmark is used every time the book is opened, so a few engraved lines get read again and again. Engraving is cut into the wood rather than printed, so the words do not rub off.

Frequently asked questions
How much text fits on a wooden bookmark?
About 130 to 160 words, roughly four verses of four lines, engraves clearly on the medium size. A short verse suits the small size.
Can you write a poem for me?
Yes. Choose "Please write my poem" on the poem bookmark and give the recipient's name, the occasion and any details to include.
Can I engrave a published poem?
You supply the wording. A short quotation with the poet's name is the usual approach; a complete poem still in copyright needs the rights holder's permission.
Can a business order bookmarks with a logo?
Yes. The branded wooden bookmarks take a logo and a message, with no minimum order.
