Choose a Sign Size

A Baby Changing Area sign laser-engraved on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF, hung on natural jute string, in four sizes from 102mm to 270mm wide. For cafés, nurseries, hotels, soft-play centres and village halls that want a warmer sign than a printed plastic plaque. Standard wording reads Baby Changing Area; type “Baby Changing Facilities”, “Parent and Baby Room” or your own wording in the personalisation box. The sign is wood and jute string only, with no plastic or acrylic, and orders are dispatched without plastic packaging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the wording?

Yes — type it in the personalisation box. “Baby Changing Facilities”, “Nappy Changing Room” and “Parent and Baby Room” are the usual alternatives, and you can add an arrow direction as a second line.

Which size is right for a corridor wall?

The Large (225 × 164mm) reads along a corridor; the Medium suits a door panel. Choose Extra Large where the sign has to be read from a reception area or across a hall.

Can it be wiped down in a changing room?

The engraved oak face wipes with a damp cloth. Keep the sign out of direct water contact — it is for indoor use and should not be mounted inside a wet area or where it would be splashed.

Do you supply hotel groups and nursery chains?

Yes — bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units of the same product. Our guide to what signage a hotel needs lists the facility signs most sites order together, and the matching toilet signs are in the same oak.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
