Frequently asked questions
Is there a Welsh-language version?
Yes — the Nain Gorau & Taid Gorau sign is the same oak sign engraved in Welsh ("Nain Gorau" / "Taid Gorau"), and also offers the English wording so a pair can match.
Can I add a name or date?
Yes — add it in the personalisation box and we engrave it under the main wording.
What do Nain and Taid mean?
Nain is grandmother and Taid is grandfather in North Wales Welsh; in the south, Mam-gu and Tad-cu are more common — ask in the personalisation box if you'd like those instead.

Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
