Choose a Sign Size

A custom opening hours hanging sign laser-engraved with your business hours and logo on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF, with a jute string loop. A clean alternative to a printed card or vinyl sticker for shops, cafés, salons, clinics and offices. Four sizes, from 102 × 74mm to 270 × 190mm. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

How to order

  1. Choose your size from the dropdown
  2. Upload your logo with the logo upload button if you want one — black and white artwork engraves most clearly, and colour logos can usually be converted

Frequently asked questions

Which opening hours sign should I choose?

This hanging sign comes in four sizes, from 102 × 74mm to 270 × 190mm. For a bigger display up to 590 × 390mm, choose the large opening hours sign in A3 or max size. For an A5 or A4 sign with an optional stand, see the opening hours sign with stand.

What do I put in the personalisation box?

Your days and times, written as you want them to appear, plus any website or social handle you want engraved. Your logo goes through the logo upload button.

Can I have Open and Closed on the same door?

Yes. Pair your hours with a double-sided Open and Closed sign — Open and Closed on the door, your hours beside it.

Read the guide to choosing an open, closed or opening hours sign.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Production & Delivery

All items are made to order.

Your estimated dispatch and delivery date is shown at checkout, based on current production times.

Orders are typically sent using Royal Mail:

• UK: Tracked 24 (with optional Special Delivery upgrade)

• International: Royal Mail International Tracked

If you need your order by a specific date, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
