Open on one side, Closed on the other — hung in your window or on your door so customers know instantly whether you're trading. Laser engraved oak veneered MDF, available in four sizes, with optional logo and website details. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

How to Order

Choose your size from the dropdown. Use the logo upload button to send your logo if you'd like it engraved on the sign (PNG or JPG, black and white gives the crispest result). FAQ

Can I add my logo and business name?
Yes — upload your logo using the logo upload button and add any text (business name, website, social media) in the personalisation box. We'll incorporate it into the design at no extra cost.

Which size works best for a shop door or window?
Medium (158×115mm) is the most popular for standard shop doors. Large suits wider windows or anywhere the sign needs to be read from a bit further away. Extra Large is ideal for prominent window displays.

Is this hung or freestanding?
Hung — it comes with jute string through two pre-drilled holes. If you need a freestanding open/closed sign for a counter or till point, see our custom freestanding wooden sign.

Do you make an opening hours sign?

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
