An oversized keyring engraved with “Don't Lose This Key” on 5mm FSC-certified Moso bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256) — 200×80mm, deliberately too big to misplace. The 5mm thickness gives it real weight in the hand and better resistance to splitting than thinner bamboo. For anyone who habitually loses keys, or for a single key that needs to stand out from the rest — a car key, a safe key, or a spare that shouldn't get mixed in. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from the 3mm bamboo version?
Same size, same design, same personalisation options. This one is 5mm — noticeably thicker, heavier in the hand, and more resistant to splitting under everyday handling, for a small price premium. The 3mm bamboo version remains the better-priced option.

Is there an oak version?
Yes — the oak XL keyring is the same 200×80mm size in oak veneered MDF. There's also a smaller 90×25mm oak version if the oversized format is more than you need.

Why does thickness matter for bamboo?
Bamboo is strong along its fibres but can split if pressure is applied across the grain. A thicker cross-section gives a crack more material to travel through before it can propagate. The full reasoning is in why we made a 5mm bamboo range.

Can I have my logo engraved on it?
Yes — upload it using the logo upload button. Black and white artwork engraves most crisply, though most colour logos convert well.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
