Frequently asked questions

Is this for a fire door?

This sign is a courtesy reminder, not a certified fire safety sign. It is used on doors that need to stay closed for draught or privacy reasons, but always follow your building's official fire door signage requirements alongside it.

Can I change the wording?

Yes — add your preferred text in the personalisation box at checkout, or leave it on the standard wording shown.

Is there a sign that says Keep Door Closed instead?

Yes — the Please Keep Door Closed sign has Standard Text and Custom Text options in the same four sizes.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
