Frequently asked questions

Is this a fire door sign?

It is a reminder sign made from oak veneered MDF, not a certified fire safety sign. If a door is a fire door, follow your fire risk assessment and the signage it specifies, and use this sign alongside it.

Can I add a reason, such as a fire door?

Yes — choose Custom Text and add it in the personalisation box, for example "Fire Door — Please Keep Closed" or "Please Keep This Door Closed at All Times".

Which size suits a door?

Medium (158 × 115mm) reads clearly without being obtrusive. Large (225 × 164mm) and Extra Large (270 × 190mm) suit wide doors or corridors, and Small (102 × 74mm) suits a close-range door.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
