Frequently asked questions

Can each badge link to a different URL?
Yes β€” list each person's name, title and URL in the personalisation box, one per line, or upload a spreadsheet for larger orders. We generate each QR code individually.

What does the QR code link to?
Any URL β€” LinkedIn profiles, personal websites and company pages are all popular choices. You can also link to a vCard (a digital contact card) so scanning the badge saves the wearer's contact directly to the scanner's phone. Use our free vCard QR code generator to create one, or read our guide on what is a vCard QR code.

Single-sided or double-sided?
Single-sided puts everything on one face and is the lower-cost option. If you want the front kept clean for name and logo with the QR code on the reverse, choose the double-sided portrait badge, or the landscape version for wide logos.

Does scanning need an app?
No β€” any modern phone camera reads the QR code. For tap-to-share instead of scan, see our NFC name badge.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

Production & Delivery

All items are made to order.

Your estimated dispatch and delivery date is shown at checkout, based on current production times.

β€’ UK: Tracked 24 (with optional Special Delivery upgrade)

β€’ International: Royal Mail International Tracked

If you need your order by a specific date, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

Returns

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

β€’ Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

β€’ Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
