Choose a Sign Size

A slim Staff Only strip sign laser-engraved on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF and hung on natural jute twine — four sizes from 103mm to 270mm wide and 34mm to 90mm tall. The narrow format suits a café counter, a boutique stockroom door or an office corridor where a full-size sign would be too tall. Standard wording reads Staff Only; type your own wording in the personalisation box if you need something different. The sign is wood and jute twine only, with no plastic or acrylic, and orders are dispatched without plastic packaging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

How to order

  1. Choose your size from the dropdown
  2. Leave the personalisation box blank for the standard wording, or type your alternative text
  3. Add to basket — bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units of the same product

Frequently asked questions

Can I change the wording to something other than Staff Only?

Yes — type the full replacement wording in the personalisation box and that text is engraved instead. The strip is a single line, so short wording such as “Staff Only — Thank You” or “Private — Staff” fits best.

Can you add our company logo?

Not on this slim strip — it carries a single line of text. For a sign built around a logo, the full-size Staff Only hanging sign has a logo upload button and more room.

How does this differ from the flat-back slim sign?

Same strip sizes and oak. This one hangs on jute twine from a hook or nail; the flat-back version has no holes or twine and fixes with sticky pads for a flush finish on a door.

What discount applies to a bulk order?

Bulk discounts are applied automatically at checkout per product: 10% from 20 units, 15% from 50, 20% from 100, 25% from 250, 30% from 500 and 35% from 1,000.

Returns

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
