Size

A slim flat-back Staff Only sign laser-engraved on FSC-certified 4mm oak veneered MDF β€” four strip sizes from 102mm to 270mm wide, with a plain back for sticky pads so it sits flush on a door or wall. For cafΓ©s, restaurants, pubs, shops and any business with a staff-only area. Standard wording reads Staff Only; type your own wording in the personalisation box if you prefer. The sign is wood only, with no plastic or acrylic, and orders are dispatched without plastic packaging. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fix it to a door?

Use sticky pads or a mounting adhesive on the flat back β€” not supplied. Clean the door first so the pads bond to the paint rather than to dust. Because there are no holes, the engraved face is uninterrupted.

Is this the same as the hanging Staff Only strip?

Same sizes and oak; the difference is the fixing. This version has a plain back for sticky pads. The slim hanging strip has pre-drilled holes and jute twine for a hook, and the full-size hanging sign is taller with a logo upload.

Can I change the wording?

Yes β€” type the wording you want in the personalisation box. One short line suits the strip format; for two lines of text choose the full-size hanging sign.

Returns

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

β€’ Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

β€’ Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.

Will I see a proof?

Proofs are not provided as standard - if you need one, please request it in the personalisation box when ordering.
