A personalised wooden hanging sign engraved with the meaning and origin of your chosen surname. Made from 4mm oak veneered MDF with two pre-drilled holes and a jute string loop. Simply give us the name and we will write a brief, accurate summary of its etymology and history — or you can provide your own text, including a humorous take if you prefer. Four sizes available. A distinctive gift for birthdays, anniversaries, or anyone with a love of language and heritage. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Packaging

We keep our packaging simple with a rustic feel and, more importantly, kinder to the environment. All packaging is paper-based, including the tape used to seal parcels, and is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
