A Welsh Dragon bauble engraved with "Yma o Hyd" — Welsh for "still here", the phrase that became an anthem of Welsh resilience. Laser engraved on 10cm birch plywood with a jute loop, it hangs on a Christmas tree in December and on a hook, mirror or shelf edge for the rest of the year. FAQ
Can I add a name to this bauble?
No — this design is engraved as shown, with the dragon and Yma o Hyd text filling the face. If you want a Welsh bauble with a name or your own drawing, see the Nadolig Llawen design-your-own bauble.
What does Yma o Hyd mean?
"Still here." It is the title of Dafydd Iwan's 1983 song, now sung at Welsh football and rugby matches as a statement that Wales and its language endure.
Is it only for Christmas?
No. The design has no festive motif, so it works year-round as a small wall or shelf decoration, or as a gift for Welsh family living away from Wales.

Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Our products are made from natural materials, including:
• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments
• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions
To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
