Frequently asked questions

What can I put under the heading?

A practice name, a therapist's name, a room name or a short line such as “Session in progress — please wait”. Two short lines fit under the heading at this size; longer messages suit the 203mm full-height hanger.

Will it fit my door handle?

The 51mm hole slips over a standard round knob or the lever of most UK internal doors. For a wide bar handle or a lever you cannot slide it over, the open-hook door hanger hooks on from the side; for hotel handles with a large rose, the wide hotel door hanger has a 70mm hole.

Which Do Not Disturb hanger should I order?

Compact 89 × 144mm: oak with logo and custom text, oak with a choice of two wordings, bamboo Do Not Disturb or bamboo Please Do Not Disturb. Full-height 203 × 89mm: oak with your name or logo. Two-sided for a room that is sometimes free: the reversible hotel hanger or the Yep / Nope hanger. Our guide to do not disturb signs and door hangers compares them.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
