A restaurant tip sign laser-engraved on 4mm oak veneered MDF, for pubs, bistros, gastropubs and hotel dining rooms. It stands in a three-layer oak base on the table or beside the bill, under a plate-and-cutlery icon: Enjoyed your visit? Tips are never expected, but always appreciated. Thank you for supporting our team. Two sizes, single or double sided. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales.

Want it to say whose team? Add your business name to the bottom line, or upload your logo to replace the cutlery icon. Both are optional and free.

How to order

  1. Choose your size, then single or double sided.
  2. For the standard wording, leave the personalisation box blank. To name your business, type the bottom line as you want it, for example Thank you for supporting the team at The Plough.
  3. To swap the cutlery icon for your logo, upload it with the logo button. Colour or black and white both work; it is adapted for engraving.
  4. Add to basket. Bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add my business name or logo?

Yes, both are free. Type the bottom line you want in the personalisation box (for example Thank you for supporting the team at The Plough) and upload your logo to replace the plate-and-cutlery icon. Leave both blank for the wording shown.

Single or double sided: which should I choose?

Double sided suits a table with guests on both sides, so everyone sees it. On a table against a wall, or by the till, single sided is enough.

Is there a version for cafés and coffee shops?

Yes. The Café Tip Sign has the same wording with a coffee cup icon, made to stand on the counter by the tip jar.

Can guests tip by card or phone?

This sign is engraved wording only. For contactless tips, the NFC Tap to Pay Sign opens your tip or payment page when a phone is held to it.

Do you do bulk orders?

Yes. Bulk discounts apply automatically from 20 units: 10% off at 20, 15% at 50, 20% at 100, and more at higher quantities. Ordering 20 or more? Message me before you order, so I can check your wording and logo with you first.

Packaging

All orders are packed in paper-based packaging, including the paper tape used to seal each parcel. No plastic is used.

All items are made to order.

Orders are typically sent using Royal Mail:

• UK: Tracked 24 (with optional Special Delivery upgrade)

• International: Royal Mail International Tracked

As each item is made to order, we can only accept returns where there is a manufacturing issue or we are at fault.

If there are any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll resolve it quickly.

Materials & Care

Our products are made from natural materials, including:

• Oak veneered MDF – ideal for indoor use, not suitable for damp or outdoor environments

• Bamboo – more water resistant and suitable for items like name badges, but lightweight and not recommended for outdoor signage in windy conditions

To ensure longevity, we recommend keeping all items dry and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture.
