Collection: Food Allergy Signs
Oak wooden food allergy signs for cafés, restaurants, pubs, bakeries and caterers — freestanding, hanging and A4/A5 formats, with or without your logo. Made to order in our workshop in North Wales. Bulk discounts from 20 units.
Our complete guide to food allergy signs for cafés and restaurants covers what Natasha's Law and UK allergen regulations require, which sign formats work best for different settings, and how to order branded signs for multiple sites.
Natasha's Law and UK allergen requirements
Since Natasha's Law came into force in 2021, and under the Food Information to Consumers (FIC) Regulation, food businesses in the UK must provide clear allergen information to customers. A visible food allergy sign prompts customers with allergies or intolerances to speak to staff before ordering — a straightforward front-of-house requirement for any food business. The 14 major allergens covered include celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites, and tree nuts.
Which format works for which setting
- Freestanding signs — for counters, tills and table displays. Repositionable without fixings, with or without your logo.
- A4 and A5 with optional stand — larger format for high-traffic areas, service counters and bakery displays.
- Hanging signs (4 sizes) — for wall mounting, kitchen hatches and areas where a freestanding sign isn't practical.
- Wedding and event signs — for cake tables, dessert displays and catered occasions.
