No — despite "plywood medals" being a common generic term for budget medals, all our medals (including the budget range) are oak veneered MDF, laser-engraved for a crisp, consistent finish.

Do the trophies come assembled?
The sailing and tennis trophies ship flat-pack and push-fit together on arrival — strong enough for display use, or add a small amount of wood glue for a permanent bond. The business award trophy is supplied ready to stand.
Can each medal in a school or club order have a different name?
Yes — list each name, one per line, in the personalisation box and we’ll engrave every medal individually.
