What is a personalised sign?
A personalised sign is a sign engraved with your own choice of text, name, business or logo, rather than a fixed off-the-shelf message. Ours are laser-engraved on wood to order, so you can add a room name, a family name, a business and logo, or a custom message. Most designs let you choose a ready-made wording or supply your own.
Do you make wooden signs for the home?
Yes. Alongside business signage, we make personalised wooden signs for the home — family name signs, door and room signs, kitchen and hallway signs, and signs for special occasions. Add your own wording or a family name in the personalisation box, choose your size, and we'll engrave it to order.
What can I have engraved on a sign?
You can add custom text, a name, a business name, a short message and, on most designs, a logo. Enter your wording in the personalisation box at checkout and upload a logo using the logo upload button where available. Black-and-white logos engrave best, and most colour logos can be converted.
What are the signs made from?
Most signs are 4mm oak veneered MDF, which gives a consistent engraved finish. FSC-certified bamboo (certificate RINA-COC-001256) is available on selected designs and shows natural grain variation, and our freestanding block range is solid oak. All are for indoor use.
What sizes are available?
Most signs come in a choice of sizes — commonly four, from around 100mm up to 270mm wide — supplied with jute string for hanging. Freestanding desk and shelf versions are available across many designs, with larger A4 and A5 formats on selected signs.
Can I order signs in bulk for a business?
Yes. Bulk discounts apply automatically at checkout from 20 units, increasing up to 35% at 1,000 — no codes or enquiry needed. You can mix wording variants by listing each one in the personalisation box.
Do you offer sustainable signage?
Our signs are made to order, which avoids the overproduction and waste of mass-printed signage. Selected designs use FSC-certified Moso bamboo, sourced from a Chain-of-Custody certified manufacturer (certificate RINA-COC-001256); oak veneer signs use a thin oak facing over MDF; and our freestanding Block range is solid oak. We don't describe the oak veneer or the finished signs as FSC-certified, and we avoid vague eco claims — the materials and made-to-order process speak for themselves.
Are the signs suitable for outdoor use?
No. These signs are made from oak veneered MDF, bamboo and solid oak, and are designed for indoor use only.
